Carl Lambert Buried At Wichita, Kansas
Following is the obituary of Carl M. Lambert, husband of Mrs. Myrtle B. Lambert of this city, who died at the Veterans Hospital in Wichita, Kansas, on May 13:
Carl M. Lambert, son of Claude K. and Dora O. Lambert, was born October 19, 1915, at Yates Center, Kansas, and at the time of his passing had reached the age of 34 years, 6 months and 24 days.
He attended the school of Yates Center; later her served 41 months in the United States Coast Guard.
Surviving relatives are his wife, Myrtle B. Lambert, the former Myrtle Tucker, and two sons, Carl Allen and Robert Lee of Lusk; two brothers, Corporal Harvey F. Lambert of Fort Monmouth, New York, and Ted Lambert of Yates Center, Kansas; also two half-sisters, Mrs. V.C. Rose and Mrs. W.C. Lambertson of Wichita, Kansas; his father, mother and one brother precede him in death.
Services were conducted from the Johnson Chapel, Tuesday, May 17, with Miles C. Cook ofrficiating. "The Old Rugges Cross" and "Jesus Savior Pilot Me", were sung by Addington Burton, accompanied by Mrs. Burton. Military graveside services were conducted by the American Legion at the Yates Center cemetery.
It was impossible for Mrs. Lambert to attend the funeral services.
