Brother of Local Women Dies in Nebr.
James A. Brown, 79, brother of Mrs. Hugo Payne and Mrs. Harry Vickory of Lusk, died Christmas night after a long illness, following a stroke that left him partially paralyzed.
Mr. Brown died at the home of his sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. George Johnson of Orchard, Nebraska.
He formerly was a resident of Sioux County, where he made many friends among the people of Harrison and Lusk. For many years he worked in Orchard, Nebr., as a barber.
Funeral services were held in Orchard on Tuesday afternoon.
