Charles E. Baker Dies at Casper
A heart attack claimed the life of Charles E. Baker, 45, at his home in Casper, on Friday night, April 22.
He is the son of Mrs. Rebecca Baker of Sidney, Neb., and the late Nat Baker of Lusk. He spent his childhood here, where he attended the Lusk schools, graduating from the Lusk High School with the class of 1921.
Some three years ago he moved to Casper, where he was associated in business with Charles Cullen and later with the Walter Schultz Company.
Mr. Baker had attended a meeting of the Elks Lodge. of which he held the office of esteemed lecturing knight, and had returned home when he evidently suffered a heart attack as he put his car in the garage. His wife discovered the body the following morning in the garage.
Funeral services were conducted from the Horstman-Gay Mortuary on Tuesday, April 26.
Survivors besides his widow are his mother, Mrs. Rebecca Baker, and a brother, Jack Baker, both of Sidney, Neb.; two uncles, Guy V. Doran, Sidney, Neb., and W. S. Doran, Toppenish Wash.
