Neal Hart, Famed Movie Actor Who Lived as Young Man in This Area, Dies
Neal Hart, famed movie actor of western pictures, who spent several years as a young man in the vicinity of Lusk, died in Los Angeles Calif. April 2.
The father of Neal Hart and the late Thomas Black were great friends in their native state of New York, and so it was only natural that when young Hart was old enough and had the desire to see the west that he should come to the Willow Creek Ranch which was owned by his father's friend.
Here he learned the art of riding and roping that brought him fame in later years in Hollywood. Romance also came to him in Wyoming and he was married to Miss Lula Peilstick of Manville, who with their son Thomas, survive him.
Hart was also a cousin of Mrs. Floyd McLain of Lusk.
