Osbornes at Rites of Brother Killed in War
The body of Pfc. Thomas Osborne, brother of Homer L. Osborne of Lusk, was laid to rest in the Broken Bow, Neb. cemetery Friday, after being returned from Okinawa, where Pfc. Osborne was killed May 3, 1945.
The Lusk brother, Mrs. Osborne and their two children, Donna Lee and Jimmy, went to Broken Bow Thursday and returned Sunday.
Full military services were held from the Presbyterian Church, with military rites in charge of the American Legion. Surviving are three brothers, a sister and the mother, Mrs. Rosie Osborne, of Broken Bow.
