Funeral Services Held for Mrs. Kamp
Note: The following articles have different information for Mrs. Kamp's age and death date. We have used December 28 here, as this would better coincide with the funeral date.
Last rites for Mrs. Glenn Kamp 72, were conducted from the Stark Chapel in Douglas at two o'clock, the afternoon of January 2. The Rev. A. Thomas Hurley, pastor of The First Methodist Church officiated with music being furnished by Mrs. R.J. Ditclar with Mrs. Harold Moewes as soloist.
Interment was in the Douglas cemetery with casket bearers being Ollie Cannon, O.E. Moore, Roy Pennington, Dan Dielman, Wilbur Wright and Hank Amend.
Mrs. Kamp, a pioneer of Converse County, died at her home in Lost Springs, Dec. 28, after having returned to her home from the hospital in Douglas apparently considerably improved in health.
She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Ralston and was born near Argos, Ind., Aug. 27, 1879 and spent her girlhood there. On Oct. 30, 1897 she was married to Edward Kamp and in 1909 the family moved from Argos to Lost Springs where they have since resided.
Mr. Kamp died four years ago. Survivors include her six children, Melvin Kamp of Lost Springs; Ethel Swiek, Phoenix, Arizona; Ruth Joss, Manville; Marshall Kamp, Lebanon, Ore.; Mabel Bible, Lost Springs; Victor Kamp, Lost Springs.
Two sisters and two brothers also survive, they are: Delbert Ralston, Bourbon, Ind.; Russell Ralston, Redwood, Calif.; Susie Martin, Long Beach, Calif.; and Edna Sherwin, Redondo Beach, Calif. There are five grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

Mrs. Ed Kamp of Lost Spring Dies
Mrs. Ed Kamp, 71 years of age, who resides south of Lost Springs, died at her home Friday afternoon, Dec. 21, following a brief illness. Mrs. Kamp had been in the hospital at Douglas for several days, but had been released a few days ago and was much improved when she returned to her ranch home. Her condition became worse after she returned home.
Funeral services will be held at Douglas Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, with interment in the Douglas Cemetery.
Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. Otto Bible and Mrs. George Joss. Mr. and Mrs. Bible, who had been spending the winter in Phoenix, Ariz., returned here for the funeral.
