Wife Former Episcopal Pastor Dies in Virginia
Mrs. J. C. Horton, wife of a former Lusk Episcopal pastor, died at Manassas, Va. Jan. 19 at the age of 71.
Mrs. Horton lived for a number of years in Wyoming and her husband died here in 1920 while he was serving the Lusk Church. They also owned a ranch near Jay Em. She later moved to Torrington and then went to Virginia.
Funeral services were held at the Episcopal Church at Manassas and the body was cremated and is to be brought to Jay Em for burial by the side of her husband.
She is survived by three sons, Col. J. Coleman Horton of Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala.; Cyral F. Horton, Lexington Park, Md.; and James Horton, Alexadria, Va., and one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Dippert, of Crawford who went to Manassas at the time of her mother's death.
