Boyd Brown Dies Suddenly at Rapid
Word was received in Lusk on Thursday that Boyd Brown of Rapid City, S. Dak., died suddenly of a heart attack the previous day.
Mr. and Mrs. Brown and their daughter, Shirley resided in Lusk for a number of years where Mr. Brown was in charge of the express office when they first moved here and later they purchased the Thrifty Laundry which they operated for some time.
About eight years ago they purchased a tourist court in Rapid City and Mr. Brown also operated a barber shop.
Funeral services were held in their old home at Valentine, Nebr., on Monday with the Masonic lodge in full charge of the services.
Although Mr. Bown had not been feeling well for some time he was down town attending to some business when he was stricken with the heart attack which claimed his life, Wednesday, October 10.
Beside his wife he is survived by his married daughter and a grandchild.
