SheepHerder Dies Suddenly
A sheep herder, Henry Pierce, 60, who had gone to work for James Klint at Lance Creek only the day before, was found dead Friday at his camp.
He had prepared food and had sat down to the table when the heart attack came. He was found about 7:30 Friday evening. The body was taken to Atkinson, Nebraska Sunday where a brother, Frank Pierce lives.
Sheepherder Found Dead Friday Morning
A sheep herder, Henry Pierce, whom Jim Klindt hired only the day before, was found dead in the wagon last Friday morning. He was 60 years of age and from near Atkinson, Nebraska. His brother, Frank Pierce, came and accompanied the body to Atkinson Sunday morning.
