Homer Eldredge (Eldridge) Dies Sunday in Salmon, Ida.

Homer Eldridge of Salmon, Id., formerly of the Hat Creek community, died Aug. 30 at Salmon and funeral services will be conducted from the Peet Mortuary in Lusk next week.

The remains are being shipped here and burial will be made in the family lot of the Lusk Cemetery beside his mother, Ann E. Eldridge who died in 1928, and his father, Stephen who died in 1931.

Among the survivors is a brother, Manzona (Zone) Eldridge, formerly of Hat Creek and now of Fremont, Neb.

Final Rites Held For Homer Eldridge

Funeral services were conducted from the chapel of the Peet Mortuary Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock for Homer Eldridge who died at Salmon, Ida. Aug 30 after being in ailing health for some time.

The Rev. Jacob Nein of the Congregational Christian Church officiated at the final rites. Music was provided by Mrs. Emerson Bonner and Mrs. A. F. DeCastro who sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Crossing the Bar", being accompanied by Mrs. J. P. Watson, organist.

Pallbearers were Sam Thomas, Len Christian, Harry Boner, Fred Bryant, Dudley Fields and George Christian. Interment was in the Lusk Cemetery.

Homer Eldridge, son of Steven and Ann Eldridge, was born Sept. 5, 1883 in Gallatin, Mo. In 1891 he moved with his parents to Wyoming and spent all but the last 13 years here. In 1940 he moved to Salmon, Ida. In 1939 he was united in marriage to May Robinson who preceded him in death.

Survivors are two brothers, Manzona of Fremont, Nebr., and Tom of California; one sister, Mrs. Cora Atwill of La Junta, Colo.; several nieces and nephews. Two sisters, Mrs. Delora Clapp and Mrs. Minnie Galloway, preceded him in death.

Mrs. Edyth Carr and Forest Atwill, a niece and nephew, both of Midwest, attended the services.
