Service for Minnie Anderson
Graveside service at the Lusk Cemetery was conducted Tuesday afternoon for Minnie Anderson, 86, who died in Omaha, Neb., last Friday. The Rev. Frank Blish of the Lusk Congregational Church officiated.
Minnie 0. Anderson was born February 2, 1892, in Herman, Neb., daughter of Ole and Mary Hansen Anderson. She was educated in Nebraska schools and moved to Wyoming in 1926. She was engaged in the restaurant business for a number of years in Cheyenne and moved to the Torrington area in 1967. She operated a restaurant in Torrington for a time and also one in the Lusk area. Prior to moving to Wyoming she operated and managed a hotel in the Gering, Neb., area.
Survivors include the fdllowing cousins: Mabel Lynch, Mae Perry and Pearl Jackson, all of Omaha; Floyd Anderson and Gena Daggett of Rosalie, Neb.; Jess Anderson of Lyons, Neb.; Ethel Jesperson of Herman, Neb.; Gladys Jordan of Pancroft, Neb.; Myrtle Gow of Santa Monica, Calif.; Emily Green of San Francisco, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Anna K. Anderson of Dundee, Ill.
Arrangements are by the Sutley Funeral Chapel of Torrington, Wyoming, where the body will lie in state until 12 noon on Tuesday.
