Clare McElhinny Dies Sunday; Many Attend Funeral
Clare McElhinny, former resident of Lance Creek and superintendent for Ohio Oil Co. for the Pipeline Dept. died at Casper with funeral services held at the Bustard Funeral Home Sunday.
Burial was in the Glenrock cemetery. He had been with Ohio for 34 years, joining the company in 1922. While in the Lance Creek field he was superintendent of the pipe line department, and was district superintendent at Casper prior to his death. McElhinney is survived by his wife, three daughters and one son. Those attending the funeral from here were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sheaman, Mrs. Chas. Lee Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Rodgers, Mr. and Mrs. Chet Stubson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Art Pollard, Gene Brewer, Bob Burgess, Ernest Garhart, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Brown, and Mr. and Mrs. William Jassman from north of Lusk.
