RAYMOND HILTON
A graveside service was held June 15 at Phoenix, Ariz., for Raymond Hilton. He was born Nov. 27, 1898 in Philadelphia, Pa. He died June 14, 1984 at Maricopa Medical Center at Phoenix after a short illness.
He was married to Clara Asker Carnes on April 10, 1928, at Cottonwood, Idaho. After living in the Lewiston, Idaho and Spokane, Wash. area for many years, he worked on the Alcan Highway during World War II for the Corp of Engineers, receiving an Award of Commendation.
He was married to Gertrude Bolding at Wenatchee, Wash., on Sept. 29, 1954.
He is survived by his wife, Gertrude Hilton of Phoenix, daughter Barbara Penfield of Lusk, and stepsons Lyle Holding of Phoenix and Russell Holding of Everett, Wash., eight grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren. Memorials may be sent to Youth Center, Box 1365, Lusk, Wyo. 82225.
