Mother of Lawrence Savage Passes Away at Aurora, Nebraska

Mrs. Rose Savage, mother of Lawrence Savage, manager of the local Safeway Store, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Linton, at Aurora, Nebr., last Friday evening. The message telling of the death was received here that night. The deceased was 83 years of age.

Death was due to complications attendant to advanced years, Mrs. Savage having been in failing health for several years, and critically ill for ten days preceding her demise.

Funeral services were conducted at Wilbur, Nebr., Sunday afternoon; where interment was made alongside the grave of her husband who preceded her 18 years ago.

Surviving besides the son and daughter above mentioned are three other daughters, Miss Carrie Savage of Aurora, Nebr., Mrs. J. L. Grim of Gering, Nebr., and Mrs. T. J. Littrell of Concordia, Kans. All of the children were present for the last rites, Mr. Savage returning home Monday.
