Jeffrey D. Bigelow

Jeff Bigelow, 54, of Cheyenne died April 20, 2007 at his home. He was born on November 17, 1952 in Lusk, the son of Warren L. and Dorothy "Dottie" Bigelow.

Jeff graduated from Laramie High School in 1971. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served as a Radioman on a destroyer during the Vietnam conflict. On August 7, 1973 he married his high-school sweetheart, Cindy Pilnacek in Laramie.

Jeff worked for Union Pacific Railroad as a conductor for 32 years. He was a member of the United Transportation Union, BR & CF, Elks Lodge #660 and American Legion Post #6. He coached youth soccer and baseball. Jeff loved his family, cooking, sports and NASCAR. He also cherished hosting family gatherings.

Jeff is survived by his wife Cindy, daughter Bonnie Clair, two sons; Kevin Robert and Ryan Jeffrey and wife Kim all of Cheyenne. His mother Dottie of Powell, three brothers and their wives Jim and Becky, Jay and Debra of Cheyenne, and Jerry and Robin of Encampment and one sister Sandi Fulton and her husband Phil of Powell. Aunts, uncles, beloved nieces and nephews and numerous friends also survive him.

His father, Warren L. Bigelow, and his grandparents, Del and Dorcas "G.G." Bigelow and Henry and Emma Ostiguy preceded Jeff in death.

A celebration of Jeff's life was held April 26, at the First Presbyterian Church with Reverend Bob Garrard officiating. Cremation has taken place at Schrader's Sunset Ark Crematory.

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Disabled American Veterans or the Davis Hospice Center of Cheyenne.
