Jim Hassed Dies Christmas Eve
James Hassed died of a heart condition at his home in Greeley, Colo. Christmas eve. He would have been 40 today.
Mr. Hassed, an attorney, was reared in Lusk. Together with his family he left Lusk in August 1937. He was a veteran of World War II.
Funeral services were tentatively scheduled to be held in Greeley this Thursday. Miss Bessie Lumsden of Lusk expects to attend.
He is survived by his wife, and four children; twin brother John, brother Robert, sister Mrs. Helen Vickery, and mother Mable.
His father, Will, and a brother, Bill, died previously. Both are buried in Lusk. Will Hassed served as Niobrara Sheriff.
