Memorial services were held for Delores Mae Duncan, 64, on Friday Sept. 30, 2005, at 2 p.m. at the Lingle Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Curtis Hill officiating. Delores died on Sept. 26 at her home and cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions in Delores' memory be directed to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Colyer Funeral Home.
Delores was born March 22, 1941, in Minneapolis, Minn. to Donald M. Glass and Bethel M. Homsher where she also received her high school education. She then moved to Wamsutter in 1974 from Illinois. After that she moved to Ft. Laramie one year later and then to Torrington in 1979. She then married Alvin "Bud" Duncan July 15, 1983 and settled in Lingle. They purchased a home in Keno Bay Sonora, Mexico where they would spend the winter months. She was part of the Ladies of Keno School fund raisers as well as the Eastern Star. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and outside activities.
She is survived by her husband Alvin "Bud" Duncan of Lingle, sisters Marsha Glass of Minneapolis, Minn. and Betsy Clayton of Globe, Ariz., brother Lee Glass of Detroit Lakes, Minn., three sons and their wives, Kenneth and Ruby Starrett of Gillette, Michael and Tammy Starrett of Havana, Ill., Donald and Christine Starrett of Forest City, Ill., six stepchildren and their spouses, Jim and Mollie Duncan of Lingle, Roger and Pam Peterson of Manville, Gary and Kathi Rickard of Lingle, Vernon and Ginger Jones of Guernsey, Alvin Duncan of Garnersville, and Cindy Reeves of Glenrock, 30 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Donald Glass Jr. and two infant daughters.
