Mrs. Harry Card, Manville Pioneer, Dies in Cheyenne

Mrs. Harry B. (Edith M.) Card, 92, a resident of the Manville community for many years, died in Cheyenne Monday following an long illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. today at Schrader funeral home with the Rev. Barry Kimbrough officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview cemetery.
A pioneer resident of Wyoming, she came to the state on an immigrant train from Illinois with her parents when she was 16 years of age. She was a native of Marshall county, Kan.
Mrs. Card was a member of the Methodist Church and a past matron of Eastern Star. Her husband preceded her in death in 1947. She had resided in Cheyenne for 14 years.
Survivors include a son, Nathaniel of Denver; three daughters, Mrs. Iva May Crosby, Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Julia A Tebbs and Mrs. Anna E. Tebbs of Cheyenne; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Fields and Mrs. Bert Wells of Boise, Ida,: 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and four great-great- grandchildren.
