Joy Ruth Buckley, 63, passed away March 8, 1996, at her home in Harrison Neb. Services were held Mon., March 11, 1996, at the Methodist Church in Harrison with burial in the Glenn Cemetery in Glenn, Neb. Rev. Neil Kloppenborg officiated. Chamberlain Chapel of Crawford, Neb., was in charge of the arrangements.
She was born in Harrison, Neb., on Feb. 21, 1933, a daughter of Lawrence and Edna (Barnes) Adams.
She was a member of the Nebraska State Historical Society.
Survivors include her husband Ivol of Harrison; one daughter, Donna Scott of Hot Springs, SD; two sons, Scott Buckley of Upton, Wyo., and Doug Buckley of Harrison; five grandchildren; one sister, Eunice Miller of Van Tassell; two brothers Lloyd Adams of Van Tassell and Joe Adams of Bruno, Ark.
A memorial has been established in her name for the Sioux County Rescue Unit at The Security Bank of Harrison.
