Memorial Services for Douglas Clive Bryant, age 47, were held Friday, July 29, 1994, at the home of Bill and Doris Robinson in Lusk, Wyo. Funeral Services have taken place in Drysdale, Victoria, Australia with interment in the Drysdale Cemetery.
Mr. Bryant died at Niobrara County Hospital in Lusk, Wyo. on July 23, 1994.
Douglas Clive Bryant was born in Geelong, Victoria, Australia on October 17, 1946, to Alvenia Davis and Rupert Charles Bryant.
He married Pamela Jeanne Helmar on February 27, 1993.
Mr. Bryant, who has been a shearer since the age of 17, was a four-time Australian National Shearing Champion and five-time runner up in the same competition. He also had three Southern Strongwool Australian shearing titles, represented Australia three times in the Trans-Tasman Golden Shears Competition (Australia vs. New Zealand) and was to represent Australia in the World Shearing Championship Titles in Wales held last weekend. At the time of his death, Mr. Bryant had earned 47 shearing championships and had been working for Larson and Johnson Shearing of Lusk, Wyo. since March 1994.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rupert.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela of Lusk, Wyo. and Drysdale, Victoria, Australia; mother, Alvenia Bryant, Drysdale; sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Ron Turner of Drysdale; and brother, Bill Bryant of Portland, Australia.
Bader Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Death Notice
Memorial Services will be held for Douglas Clive Bryant, age 47, at Doris and Bill Robinson's home at 120 W. 7th in Lusk on Friday, July 29, at 7 p.m.
Mr. Bryant died on Saturday, July 23, in Lusk of a gunshot wound.
The body has been returned to Geelong, Australia for interment. An obituary will appear in next week's paper.
