William Thomas "Tom" Boll
Funeral services for former Lusk resident William Thomas "Tom" Boll are set for Wednesday, Sept. 26 (today) at 10 a.m. in the Davis Funeral Home in Riverton with Rev. Doug Peck and Rev. Duane Ayers officiating. Burial will be in Mt. View Cemetery in the AWA section. He will have VFW committal rites.
Boll died at his home in Riverton on Sept. 22. He was born Oct. 29, 1918 in York County, Penn., to Thomas Boll and Bertha Seachrist Boll. He was a carpenter and gunsmith by trade and was self-employed.
On Dec. 21, 1977, Boll married Nadine Chase in Lusk. He was a World War II army veteran.
Boll was a member of the VFW in Riverton and Post American Legion in Lusk. He was interested in gun work, loved to hunt and loved his garden. He had lived in Riverton for 13 years, having moved there from Lusk.
He is survived by his wife, Nadine; a step-son Gary Pickerel, Worland; daughter, Tomylann Warr, Manchester, Penn.; step-daughters Carol Helzer, Cody and Shelley Stone, Tulsa, Okla.; three step-granddaughters; his mother-in-law Dorothy Torpey, Riverton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Eugene and Beaulah Boll, York, Penn.; Jim and Shirley Woodward, Riverton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
