Elizabeth Bennett, a former resident, dies
Mrs. E. Floyd Deuel, secretary of Niobrara Chapter No. 26 Order of the Eastern Star, received a message on June 2 from Mrs. Luwana Bennett Eisenbise of Eagle Rock, Calif., that her mother Mrs. Elizabeth Bennett had died June 1.
The Bennett family resided in Lusk during the 1930's and 1940's. Luwana and her two brothers were graduated from Lusk high school. Bennett was the bulk station manager of the Texas Oil Co.
Mrs. Bennett was the worthy matron of Niobrara chapter in 1939. J. M. Hungate former superintendent of the Lusk school system was worthy patron.
