Myrtle Zimmerman Dies Here Wed.

Mrs. Myrtle Zimmerman died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Mary Moore, Wednesday morning, June 4, after being ill for several weeks. She had just been moved from Scottsbluff where she was being care for, to Lusk the previous day.

Mrs. Zimmerman is a native of Lusk, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Keithley who were pioneer residents of this section of the state.

She is a sister of Mrs. Edna Stallman and Mrs. Mary Moore of Lusk and another sister, Mrs. Iva Mashek, of Missoula, Mont., has been here for some time helping to care for her sister.

Funeral Services Held for Myrtle Zimmerman

Funeral services for Myrtle Zimmerman were conducted from the Peet Chapel on Friday afternoon, June 6, at 2:00 o'clock by the Rev. Grace Flint of the open Bible Standard Church.

Mrs. Zimmerman died Wednesday morning, June 4 at the home of her sister, Mrs. Mary Moore, after a lingering illness. She was a native of Wyoming and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Keithley, pioneer settlers, and was born June 13, 1888 on their homestead east of Lusk.

While a young woman she was married to Thomas Zimmerman and has spent much of her life in this community.

A twin sister, Mrs. Ivy Mashek of Missoula, Mont., has been here for some time helping to care for her sister. Other survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Edna Stallman and Mrs. Mary Moore both of Lusk and two brothers, Ernest Keithley of Cheyenne and Oscar Keithley.

The casket bearers were Harry Cornell, Lee Penn, Henry Berbers, Joe McConaughey, Ted Lohr, and Roy Elders. Mildred Miller, and Jack Roberts accompanied by Miss Alice Fowler. A solo "Sunrise Tomorrow" was sung by Rev. Mann Flint.

Interment was made in the Lusk Cemetery.

Last Services Conducted Friday For Mrs. Myrtle Zimmerman From the Peet Chapel; Burial in Lusk Cemetery

At two o'clock Friday afternoon, June 6th, concluding services were held for the late Mrs. Myrtle Zimmerman, in the chapel of the Peet mortuary with Rev. Mann and Grace Flint, pastors of the Open Bible church, officiating.

During the services, a mixed quartet composed of Miss Maxine Cole, Miss Mildred Miller, Jack Roberts and Rev. Mann Flint, sang "He Hideth My Soul" and "The Old Rugged Cross." Rev. Flint sang as a solo "Sunrise Tomorrow." Miss Alice Fowler accompanied the group at the organ.

Interment was made in the Lusk cemetery with Harry Cornell, Lee Penn, Henry Herbers, Joe McConaughey, Ted Lohr and Roy Elders bearing the remains to their last resting place.

Mrs. Zimmerman passed away Wednesday, June 4th, at the home of her sister, Mrs. Mary Moore,. At the time of her demise, she had attained the age of 63 years, 11 months and 21 days.

She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Mary Moore and Mrs. Edna Stallman, of Lusk, Wyo., and Mrs. Ivy Mashek of Missoula, Mont., two brothers, Ernest Keithley of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Oscar Keithley, a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives.
