D. Marguerite Zurcher

Marguerite Zurcher, 90, died April 1, 1999, at the Ponderosa Villa in Crawford, Neb.

Marguerite was born Jan. 31, 1909, in Meadow Grove, Neb., to Jacob R. and Florence (Lewis) Luton, the youngest of eight children and one half-brother.

She married Adolph Zurcher, Feb. 14, 1928, in Martin, S.D. Marguerite was a kind and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She had many friends and had even mothered some of her daughters' friends when they lost their own mothers. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband and an infant son, Russell Edwin.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Ann Schaefer and Colleen Ladwig, both of Harrison, Neb.; four grandchildren Stanley Schaefer and Shelley Ladwig, both of Harrison, Michael Ladwig of Casper; Steven Russell Ladwig of Cheyenne; eight great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place and graveside services will be held at a later date.
