Former Resident Here, Stanley ZumBrunnen Dies

Stanley ZumBrunnen 67, brother of Roy ZumBrunnen of Kirtley and Mrs. Nellie Christian of Lusk, died at 9:00 a.m. Sunday in a Lander Hospital. Funeral services were being conducted Wednesday in Lander.

Mr. ZumBrunnen's death was caused by cancer, a condition he had had for some time.

Mr. ZumBrunnen was reared in the Kirtley community. After he was graduated from college he took a position with a power company in Newcastle. Later he operated a power station at the Rise of the Sinks near Lander and still later was employed by a power company in Buffalo.

Upon retiring he returned to Lander to make his home.

He is survived by his wife, Ethel, a daughter, Mrs. Mary Butler of Newcastle, a son, Victor of the State of Washington. Besides Roy ZumBrunnen he is survived by three other brothers, Tom of South Carolina, Walter of Kansas, Ray of San Francisco; besides Mrs. Christian he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Edna Ammons of Denver, Mrs. Dorcas Bigelow of Harrison.
