Mrs. Roy ZumBrunnen, Resident of Kirtley for 60 Years, Dies Sunday

Mrs. Roy ZumBrunnen, 84, died Sunday in West Nebraska General Hospital in Scottsbluff of a heart condition.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Peet Chapel with the Rev. C. W. Jervis of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in the Kirtley Cemetery.

Mrs. J. P. Watson was the organist. Mrs. Emerson Bonner and Mrs. A. F. DeCastro sang, "In The Garden" and "Beyond the Sunset."

Pallbearers were: Dan Christian, Harold Wilson, James Phipps, John Hammond, Ted Lohr and Harry Sides.

Honorary pallbearers were: Roscoe Kilmer, Don Taylor and Glen Wilson.

Bama T. ZumBrunnen was born May 13, 1880 in Montague, Tex. the daughter of Minyard and Dora Reimers Teakell. She had one brother and five sisters.

She attended Montague schools and Baylor College, during which time she joined the Baptist Church. After teaching two years in a Baptist mission in New Mexico she came to Wyoming in 1904 and taught three years.

In 1907 she and Roy Leslie ZumBrunnen of Kirtley were married. They have lived in the Kirtley area since that time. Mrs. ZumBrunnen was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lusk and also a member of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her husband, Roy; three sons, Leslie of Lusk, Aubrey of Kearney, Nebr. and Lloyd of Boise, Ida.; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
