Last Rites for Mrs. Frank Zerbe

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Frank Zerbe on October 30 at the Methodist Church in Harrison. She had died October 26 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Denver after a brief illness, at the age of 57.

Elder Whitney of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Chadron conducted the service. Elder Bierele of Hemingford sang "Pearly White City" and "God Understands." He was accompanied by Mrs. Harry Serres at the organ. Casket bearers were John Eberspecher, Tom Doyle, William Schaefer, Floyd Hall, William Wickersham and Ben Corbin. Burial was made in the Bodarc Cemetery.

Anna Margaret Zerbe was the daughter of Dominic and Katherine Haas, born near Montrose, Nebr., on February 20, 1910. She married Frank Zerbe on August 26, 1939 and spent her entire life in the Montrose community. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Surviving are her husband and two children. A son, Loren, at home and a daughter, Marilyn, a pre-nursing student at Union College, Lincoln, Nebr. An infant daughter died previously.

Also surviving are six brothers and two sisters: Henry of Humboldt, Iowa; John of Hood River, Oregon; Bill of Cleveland, Ohio; and Nick, Charles and Matt of Harrison; Mrs. Florence Stewart of Harrison and Mrs. Lucile Culek of Kimball, Nebr.

Out of town relatives and friends attending the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Henry Haas, Humboldt, Ia.; Russell Hass, Las Vegas, Nev.; Mrs. Lucille Steil, Hardy, Ia.; Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Culek and family, and Mrs. Frank Culek, Kimball, Nebr.; Mr. and Mrs. John Culek, Pine Bluffs, Wyo.; Mrs. Glen Barker and family, Bridgeport, Nebr.; Mrs. Trussell and Mrs. Adamson, Crawford, Nebr.; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Pfister, Node, Wyo.; Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Zerbe, Mrs. Harlan Zerbe, and Mrs. Davy Zerbe, Van Tassell, Wyo.; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Cox, Scottsbluff, Nebr.; Mr. and Mrs. Ben Corbin, Marsland, Nebr.; Merritt Wheeler, Marsland, Nebr.
