Sherman H. Wright
Sherman H. Wright, 63, was born May 15, 1920 at Lost Springs, the son of Chester and Ethel Keister Wright. He died Feb. 21, 1984 at his home in Story.
On Dec. 28, 1940, he married Mildred Patten at Casper. Mr. Wright had farmed at Lost Springs, later moved to Lance Creek and Linch working in the oil field until he retired in 1972.
He is survived by his wife Mildred of Story; three sons, Lee and Gale of Casper, and Roger of Wright; one daughter, Judy Harshman of Story; two brothers, Orval of Casper and Kenneth of Lost Springs; three sisters, Mary Jenkins of Denver, Margaret Parmely of Harrison, Nebr., and Marjorie Hildebrand of Douglas; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter in 1944.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23 at the Henne Funeral Home in Sheridan with Rev. Norman Cook officiating. Pallbearers were Larry Eddy, Floyd Bartos, Dan Mahnke, Wilber Wright, Bob Parmely, Alvin Parmely.
Memorials to the Story Ambulance Fund would be appreciated by the family.
