No services are planned for Shirley Ann Daugherty Williams, 70, of Worland. Cremation has taken place, under the direction of Bustard's Funeral Home and Crematory.

Shirley Williams died Sept. 2, 2003, at Wyoming Medical Center.

Born March 22, 1933, in Basin, she was the daughter of Frank and Ruth (Hoover) Spencer; and graduated from high school there.

On March 17, 1998, she married Harold Leroy "Red" Williams in Las Vegas.

She enjoyed gardening, bingo, and traveling; and was a member of the American Legion and Eagles Club.

Survivors include her husband of Worland; daughter, Bonnie Angelene Daugherty of Ridgefield, Conn.; sister Eva Keune of Cresco, Iowa; brother, James Spencer of Boise, Idaho; and a great-grandson, Caleb Van Tassell of Laramie. Locally she is survived by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Terry and Dana Williams, and nephews Jeff, and Michael Williams all of Lusk; and nephew Larry Williams of Great Lakes, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, a brother, and her parents.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials to the local diabetes foundation, in her name or that of her great-grandson.
