Funeral services for Vurel Mae Bayne, 72, were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Sept. 27, at Worden Chapel with Rev. Chan Bayne officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery with Rebekah Lodge graveside rites. A memorial has been established.
Mrs. Bayne died Friday, Sept. 24, at Western Nebraska General Hospital in Scottsbluff, Neb. She was born Nov. 6, 1920, at Dull Center, Wyo., the daughter of Lloyd C. and Allta M. (Hamm) Cummings.
Mrs. Bayne was a lifetime member of the Rebekah Lodge and the Eagles Lodge.
Surviving her are four sons, Chad Bayne of Atlanta, Ga., Chan Bayne of Wheatland, Wyo.; Tom Bayne of Coalville, Ut.; and Mike Bayne of Denver, Colo.; two daughters, Sammie Scott of Lusk, Wyo.; Lona Thayer of Harrison, Neb.; two sisters, Leta Huffman of Chewelah, Wash.; Corrine Gordon of Newcastle, Wyo.; twenty grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
Mrs. Bayne was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cecil Bayne; three brothers and two sisters.
