Leonard Williams Dies Friday

Leonard Leroy Williams, 67, of Lusk died Friday, July 25, at Cheyenne following a lingering illness. Funeral services were held from the Peet Chapel Monday at 2: p.m. with the Rev. Fred Bolinger of the First Baptist Church of Lusk officiating. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.

Mr. J. P. Watson was organist and accompanied Mrs. Dean Glandt and Mrs. A. F. DeCastro as they sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "This World Is Not My Home."

Casket bearers were his eight sons, Leonard of Fredrick, Colo.; Basil of Casper; Harold of Gillette, Melvin of Freemont, Calif.; Robert of Bell Creek, Mont.; Don and Terry of Lusk and Gary of Greeley, Colo.

Mr. Williams was born to John and Armintha Williams, August 4, 1901 at Kirtley, Wyo. He lived his entire life in and around Lusk

He married Essie Holloway July 24, 1925. His wife, two sons, James and Larry, two sisters and one brother died previously.

Survivors besides his eight sons were two daughters, Shirley Murphy of Casper and Carol Jefcoat of Imperial Beach, Calif.; one brother Amil of Lusk; 22 grandchildren and numerous relatives.
