Memorial services for Jacqueline L. "Jackie" Williams, 36, of Newcastle, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Bethelem Community Church, south of Gillette.
Rev. Ron Hood officiated. Cremation has taken place at the Cheyenne Crematory.
Mrs. Williams died July 27 at Memorial Hospital of Natrona County following a lengthy illness.
She was born July 29, 1947 at Gillette and was reared and educated there, graduating from Campbell County High School. She attended Casper College for two years and then attended the University of Wyoming. Following college, she returned to Casper where she worked for Community TV and Black Hills Bentonite.
On September 8, 1973, she married James B. Williams at Casper. The couple made their home in Casper until 1979 when they moved to Newcastle where they have ranched since.
Survivors include her husband; two children, Sarah Louise and Barton James of Newcastle; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert R. Mackey, of Gillette; three brothers, Dudley and Bert Mackey of Gillette, and Tom Mackey of Laramie; three sisters, Bobbie Evans of Gillette; Debra Lassater of Denver, Colo., and Billie Burchett of Ridgecrest, Calif.
Memorials to the Blue Envelope Cancer Fund, in care of the Bustard Funeral Home or Box 2176, Casper 82602, would be appreciated by the family
