Victor Wilson Dies Thursday
Victor Everett Wilson, 64, of Lusk died last Thursday at the Torrington Hospital. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. from the Peet Chapel in Lusk. The Rev. Robert Boutwell of the Congregational Church officiated. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.
Mrs. J. P. Watson, organist accompanied Robert Reichert as he sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "In the Garden."
Casket bearers were Ted Lohr, Dewey Baars, Dale Jordan, Richard Brashear, Ernest Hales, and Bunny Chard.
He was the son of Richard and Patty Wilson, born February 2, 1905 at Memphis, Tenn. Most of his life was spent in that area where he was employed as a farm manager. June 9, 1930, he married Elvie Russell Powell at Memphis. They moved to their present home in Lusk in November 1967.
His parents died previously.
Survivors include his widow, Elvie of the family home, one son, Eddy Harold Wilson of Seminole, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Christian of Lusk and Mrs. Grace Ehlinger of Des Moines, Iowa; one brother, George Wilson of Memphis; one sister, Mrs. H. E. Eastman of Devers, Tex. and five grandchildren.
