Effie C. Wilder, 89, of Crawford, Neb., died Friday, Sept. 27, 1996, at Ponderosa Villa. Funeral services were Oct. 2, 1996, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with the Rev. Todd Philipson officiating. Burial was in Catholic Cemetery in Crawford. Wake service was Oct. 1 at the church.

She was born Aug. 21, 1906, in Whitney, Neb., to Charles and Ida (Craig) Thomas.
Survivors include daughter Rosemond Glendy of Lusk; brother-in-law Art Wilder of Potter, Neb.; sister-in-law Dorcie Wilder of Hyannis, Neb.; brother Bill Thomas of Pueblo, Colo.; sisters Catherine Konrath of Glenrock and Josephine Pattipiece of Stayton, Ore.; granddaughter Donna Osborne of Prescott, Ariz.; grandson and granddaughter-in-law Kelly and Bonnie Glendy of Casper; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Chamberlain Chapel of Crawford was in charge of the arrangements.
