Frank Bautch Dies in Denver
C. Frank Bautch, 77, an area resident from 1920 until 1935, died in a Denver hospital Saturday afternoon. He had been ill for the past 18 months. Funeral services will be held from Olinger's Mortuary in Denver this Thursday at 1:00 p.m. with burial in Denver.
In 1920 Mr. Bautch came to Lance Creek and worked as an oil well driller. In 1923 he moved to Lusk and in 1935 moved to Denver where he owned and operated the Sears Hotel until 1961 when he sold the business.
Mr. Bautch was master of Roosevelt Masonic Lodge of Manville in 1928. Masonic services are being conducted by a Denver Lodge at the request of Harmony Masonic Lodge of Lusk.
He is survived by his widow and twin daughters, Mrs. Betty Cook of California and Mrs. Beth Bugas of Longmont, Colo.
