Dick V. Welch
Dick V. Welch, 68, of Westminster died July 28. Mr. Welch was born in Lusk, Wyo., on Nov. 2, 1928. He married Betty Olsen in 1959. He was an army veteran of the Korean War. He was a geologist and worked in the oil and gas business for 40 years. He was a member of the AAPG and WGA. Survivors include his wife; daughters Karen and Dianne; son Mark; brother Bill; and seven grandchildren.
