Milford R. Watson
Milford Watson Dies in Wash.
Milford R. Watson, 70, early resident of Sioux County, died February 25 at Spokane, Wash. Funeral services and burial were at Veradale, Wash., where he had lived.
He was born in Knox County, Nebr. on November 9, 1897, and came to Sioux County with his family when he was ten years old. He was married to the former Emma Grimm, at Harrison, in 1921. The family moved to Veradale in 1947.
Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Bruce (Velma) Stoddard of Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Robert (Francene) Kenagy of Veradale; two sons, Rozelle at the home and Ray both of Veradale; six grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Minnie Watson of Crawford, Nebr.; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Craven of Crawford and Mrs. Moritz (Oretha) Wilhermsdorfer of Casper, Wyo. Among other survivors are nieces, Mrs. Jess Locker and Mrs. Emery Zimmerman of Harrison, Mrs. Frances Dunn of Mitchell, and Mrs. Jerry Wasserburger of Lusk.
