Delores M. Wasserburger

Delores M. Wasserburger, age 66, of Harrison, Nebr., passed away Oct. 1 at Chimney Rock Villa in Bayard, Nebr.

Graveside services were held Oct. 6 at 10:30 a.m. at Montrose, Nebr.

Delores was born Nov. 22, 1937 to Chris and Henrietta (O'Connell) Wasserburger. She grew up on her folk's ranch 20 miles northeast of Harrison. Delores and her sister Dorothy moved into Harrison in the early 1960's. A few years later she bought the Sioux Sundries, which she still owned at the time of her death.

Delores was famous for originating the Coffee-burger that was served at the Sioux Sundries.

Delores was a very hard worker and has many friends through the years. She will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Survivors include her sister Dorothy Wasserburger of Harrison; two nieces and their families, Lois and Roland Molitor of Rushville, Nebr. and Virginia and Elmus Corbin of Harrison and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister-in-law, Norbert and Mabel Wasserburger and both sets of grandparents.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial had been established for her sister Dorothy Wasserburger. Memorials may be sent to Security First Bank Harrison, PO Box 216, Harrison, NE 69346-0216.

Cicmanec-Pier Funeral Home in Lusk was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
