Minnie C. Walts
Word has been received of the death of former Lusk resident Minnie C. Walts, 87, Jan. 16, 1987, at the home of her daughter, Jewel Schath, in San Jose, CA.
Services were Jan. 19 in San Jose with Dr. Asa Collins III officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Memorial Park.
Mrs. Walts was married to Clinton E. Walts. Upon his death in 1979, she moved to live with her daughter in San Jose.
Mrs. Walts was born in Hill County, TX on April 10, 1899. She moved to a ranch 35 miles north of Lusk in the early 1940's. Mr. and Mrs. Walts retired in the early 1960's and moved to Lusk.
Mrs. Walts is survived by her daughter, Jewel A. Schath, nine grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 25 great-great-grandchildren.
