James S. Vincent
James S. Vincent, 82, a former resident of Manville, WY died December 5, 1987 at his sister's home in Standard, CA.
Mr. Vincent was a member of one of the pioneer families who settled in Wyoming in the late eighteen hundreds. He was born in Lost Springs and in his younger years he cowboyed, worked on oil rigs, and in coal mines. In his teens he worked in his father's coal mine at Inez, Wyoming where the family resided.
He was employed as manager of the Archie Alexander Ranch, Bill, WY for 22 years and retired to Manville in 1976.
He was preceded in death by his former wife, Jean Armagost Columbo of Casper, and one son, James Jr. He is also survived by his sister, Maxine E. Shiels, of Standard, CA; two grandchildren, Mike and Sandy of Texas, and three great-grandchildren.
