Gerhard Vick Dies Here Fri.

Gerhard M. Vick. 60, a resident of this community for 35 years, died of a heart attack in the Spencer Hospital Friday morning. He had had an attack eight days previous and had been taken to the hospital.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Leroy Kellerman in charge. Organ music was played by Mrs. J. P. Watson. Interment will be in the Decorah Cemetery, Decorah, Iowa.

Mr. Vick was born in Decorah, Ia., September 18, 1901, the son of Gilbert and Ragnheld Grannum Vick. He came to Lusk in 1927, acquiring land east of Lance Creek. He was a retired rancher. He married Mrs. Helen Anderson in Iowa, August 10, 1952.

Survivors include his wife, two brothers, several nieces and nephews, a stepson and two grandchildren.
