Rod F. Tlustos
Rod Tlustos, 47, Dies Monday
Rod F. Tlustos, 47, heavy equipment operator in this county for many years, died June 28 on 20-Mile Creek north of Lance Creek where he was staying while doing work on the Joss Ranch.
His father, Frank Tlustos, and a brother, who had been working with him were awakened by him about midnight and he died shortly later. Because no physician had been in attendance, the body was shipped to Cheyenne for autopsy and then on to Denver for cremation. Funeral arrangements will be made out of Crawford. His father and mother and the brother survive. He was unmarried.
He was born April 21, 1924, at Ardmore, S.D., to Frank J. and Juanita Parrish Tlustos. He was a World War II veteran. He was seriously injured at one time while working with heavy equipment and was in the Spencer Hospital for several months of recovery.
