Edith Thompson Service held
Services for Mrs. Edith Thompson, mother of Betty (Mrs. Paul) Percival, were conducted at the Episcopal church of Good Shepherd in Sundance Dec. 9. Besides Mr. and Mrs. Percival, attending from here were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Percival and family, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Rogers, Mrs. Edna Percival, Mr. and Mrs. Don Whiteaker and family and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sturtevant.
Mrs. Thompson, who died Dec. 6 in the Sundance hospital after a lengthy illness, was born February 22, 1888. She was active in Eastern Star and a member of the Episcopal Church and was an avid bridge player. She was a frequent visitor in the county, and made her last visit when she attended a family dinner at the Paul Percival home on Thanksgiving.
Survivors are three daughters, Miss Marion Thompson with whom Mrs. Thompson made her home, Mrs. Paul Percival and Mrs. Frank Supon, Cheyenne, and a son William Thompson, Spearfish, S. D.; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
