John Delmar Baker
John Baker Dies
Word has been recently received in Lusk telling of the death of John Delmar Baker, who died Dec. 8, 1977 at Schuyler, Neb.
He was born April 22, 1905 to John Raymond and Altona Baker in Crawfordsville, Ind.
Baker came to Jireh, Wyo. with his parents in 1910. He attended Jireh and Manville schools and spent most of his life in Wyoming. He served four years in the Army in World War II in the European theater. The last 10 years he has lived in Nebraska.
Besides his wife Mae, Baker is survived by three brothers, Burt, Stockton, Calif., Walter, Newport, Beach, Calif., Dorris, Elsinore, Calif.; three sisters, Mildred McClindon, Westminster, Calif.; Dorothy Maher, Salt, Calif. and Emma Brown, Casper.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Elnora Pizzola and brother Fred Baker.
