Rachel St. John
Funeral services for Rachel (Ellcey) St. John, 92, were held Saturday, Apr. 26, 1986 at Peet Mortuary in Lusk. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.
Mrs. St. John died Wednesday, Apr. 23, 1986. She was born on June 21, 1893 in Conklin, MI, the daughter of Fred and Elizabeth (Cory) Ellcey.
She was married to Benjamin St. John on March 18, 1912 in East Jordan, MI. To this marriage was born six sons, Ben, Ted, Frank, Fred, Pete, and Perry, and four daughters Waunita, Thelma, Pearl and Doris.
Survivors include one sister, 34 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren, plus numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin; three sons, Ben of Casper, Ted of Mitchell, NE, and Fred of Lusk; two brothers, Carl Ellcey of Hershel, MI, and Morgan Ellcey of Shoshoni, WY; one grandson and two great-granddaughters.
