Bonnie D. (Fernau) Bartlett
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned for Bonnie D. (Fernau) Bartlett, 79, who died April 8, 2000 at Denver, Colo., after a lengthy illness.
She was born November 7, 1920 in Lusk to John and Anna Christina Fernau. She grew up and was educated in Lusk. After her schooling she worked at the Ben Franklin store and The Lusk Herald. She later moved to Cheyenne and worked for a law firm. She was later employed by the National Park Service until she retired in 1985.
She married Elvin E. Bartlett on November 8, 1941. They had two children, Betsy Bartlett of Arvada, Colo., and David Bartlett of Broomfield, Colo.
She enjoyed gardening and gourmet cooking.
Survivors include her daughter Betsy Bartlett and her son David E. Bartlett and three grandchildren; brother Walter Fernau of Borrego Springs, Calif., and sister Betty Morgan of Lusk, Wyo.
