DeLyda Ladwig Siefert

Services were held March 23, 1984 for DeLyda Ladwig Siefert who died in California March 19. The Rev. Richard Duerr of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church officiated at the services in Wheatridge, Colo. Burial was at the Crown Hill Cemetery.

DeLyda was born in Chadron, Nebr. Oct. 29, 1920, was the oldest child of the late Bill and Katie Grant Ladwig of the Jireh and Manville communities. She was married in 1938 to Joe Siefert of Lusk and lived in Douglas before moving to Denver, Colo. where they made their home for many years.

She is survived by three children, Barbara Jean Davis and Juanita Stites of Wheatridge, Colo.; Robert Siefert of Arvada, Colo., eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild; five sisters, Madeline Fagan of Casper, Autumn Wilson of Aurora, Colo., Ruth Drewry of Billings, Mont., Helen Hortman of Raleigh, N.C. and Lucille Orrett of Fremont, Calif.; four brothers, Bill Ladwig of Lusk, Harold Ladwig of Douglas, Dick Ladwig of Manville and Jim Ladwig of Denver, Colo.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Josephine, a victim of an auto accident in 1953, and Olga Maria, who died in June of 1980 in California.
