Harold Ernest Scriven
Memorial services for former Lusk and Casper resident Harold Ernest Scriven, who died March 12, 1990, in Colorado Springs, Colo., were held March 14 in Colorado Springs.
Scriven was born July (21), 1914, at Mitchell, Neb. He had been a pharmacist for 46 years and while living in Casper he was employed at Hilltop Drug and Westridge Drug. He ran Willard Drug in Lusk and was active in the business community and the Congregational Church. He also lived in Powell.
He retired in 1982 to the Rio Grande Valley in Texas and had recently relocated to Colorado Springs in January 1990.
On Oct. 29, 1939, in Mitchell, he married Josie Kight Heald; she preceded him in death in August 1989.
Scriven was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Elks Lodge, American Legion and the Lions Club.
Survivors include three sons, Rich Scriven of Seattle, Wash., David Scriven of Casper, and Tom Scriven of Colorado Springs; and four grandsons.
