Richard "Bucky" Temple Barnette
Richard T. "Bucky" Barnette, 74, died March 19, 1997, at Community Hospital in Torrington. Services were March 22,1997, at Bader Funeral Home. Memorials are to St. George's Episcopal Church and Harmony Lodge No. 24.
He was born in Wheatland Nov. 1, 1922 to Richard and Sue Barnette. He married Nila Jean Sylvester June 20, 1950, at All Saints Episcopal Church in Torrington. He attended Moore Springs School and graduated from Torrington High School in 1941. He served in the U. S. Army, was a member of St. George's Episcopal Church and Harmony Lodge No 23. He was a lifetime rancher on the family ranch south of Lusk.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings.
Survivors include his wife, sons Scott of Denver, John of Evanston, and Andy and his wife, Twila, and grandchildren Andrea and Taylor.
