Faye L. Russell

Funeral services were held Feb. 10 for Faye L. Russell, 92, of Tyler, Texas. Mrs. Russell died Feb. 7, 2001 in Tyler, Texas. She was buried after a graveside service at Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery in Tyler, Texas, Rev. Richard Luna officiating.

Mrs. Russell was born May 9, 1908 in Harrison, Neb. the daughter of Walter C. and Effie Mae Reed. She was a retired teacher who had lived in Cheyenne and Tucson, Ariz.

Mrs. Russell was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Russell; a sister Frankie Hern of Douglas; her parents, Walter C. and Effie Mae Reed; four brothers, Walter Reed of Lusk, Jim Reed of Lusk, Ray Reed of Lusk and Joe Reed of Belle Fourche, S.D.

She is survived by her son Harry Russell of Bullard, Texas, two daughters, Jo Hopkins, of Champaign, Ill., and Linda Sargent of Bullard, Texas. She leaves nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers were Harry M. Russell, Steven Russell, Jim Sargent, Michael White, Ernie Hopkins and Richard Bishop. Funeral arrangements were made by Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Directors of Tyler, Texas.
